What the pilot delivers.
The pilot — what it delivers
This is a pilot — the first phase, before the full pix4d.com revamp. Its goal is to prove the way of working (the technical approach, and how our team, Marketing and DBP collaborate) and to lay the foundations of the reusable component system. It’s not the whole website — it’s the proof that the system can build it.
What the pilot includes
Component system
The first version of the reusable component system — around 22 React components, covering the main block types the website is built from. Built to the design and style you define; we handle the architecture, the components themselves, a structure that scales, and basic documentation.
5 pilot pages
One page per main type — Home, Pricing, Industry, Solution and Product — built from the system. Enough to prove it covers the site's main structures. (The names Industry and Solution may still change; the structure won't.)
The workflow, defined
How the work runs, agreed and validated: component creation flow, Contentful integration, repository strategy, development and Pull Requests, AI as development support, and a validation environment (Storybook or equivalent).
Knowledge transfer
The knowledge stays inside Pix4D — captured in written documentation and recorded walkthroughs of the key processes, produced as we build. Then check-in sessions to answer questions and clarify, once your team has read it, so they can run the system on their own by September/October.
Some page names and content details may still be adjusted while the information architecture is finalised — the component architecture is built to absorb that without structural change.
Next
That’s what the pilot delivers. How the work is phased — from setup to hand-off — is next.
